Mrs. Bair: "Elijah, could you please type a message about your recent achievement?"
Elijah: "I try to study hard. I will also try to not get any detention, also when I study people work hard also but I am working my hardest. I want to be in the honor roll. I want to be the first 1 to be it. I will try when I go to 8th grade to be the school president. I want to support Mission Dolores School. I am trying my best. I'm raising my hand to ask questions. The only time I walk to my friends are when I am at lunch time, recess, & after school. In class I work all the time. 1 thing when I talk is when I have a group in some subjects. - From the University of California, Davis, I graduated with a BA in English Literature (major) and Teacher Education (minor). While at UCD, I competed on the swim team and was a yearbook staff writer. From the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, I earned a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. While at the University of the Pacific I also wrote and received a grant for a literacy project and for a travel project. I possess a Clear Multiple Subject teaching credential with Supplementary Authorization in English from the State of California. I have passed the examination for California Teachers of English Learners (CLAD/CTEL) in all three domains. In addition, I am classified as a 'NCLB Highly Qualified Teacher'. For eleven years I have taught fourth grade (and I love it!) My education experiences also include 5th, a 4th/5th combination class, K, 1st, high school varsity/jv sports coaching and a unique & rewarding experience supervising incarcerated dual diagnosis developmentally disabled adults in math and reading activities. I am so excited to work with you this year!!
