Reading: Book Club Reports due Monday. Students have decided what they are doing for their presentation. Creativity is encouraged and there are some guidelines. Guidelines are in Language Arts notebooks. Please ask your student what s/he is working on for this project.
Math: Worksheet. Use notes.
Social Studies: Read lesson 353-364, take 2 column notes in SS notebook. Quiz is very likely!
TUESDAY, MAY 3
Religion: Full dress uniform mass on Friday for May/Mary/Mothers
Math: Worksheet. Test Friday.
Language Arts/English: Spelling pretest & vocabulary corrections in red pen in Language Arts notebook.
Fine Arts: Dress Rehearsal on Friday. Lines should have already been 100% memorized, keep practicing!
WEDNESDAY, MAY 4
Religion: Full uniform on Friday
Reading: Book Club book reports due Monday (continue to work on them at home, depending on what your group decided to do)
Math: Worksheet. Test Friday.
Language Arts/English: Finish defining spelling word terms from class. Create flashcards to help you study for Tuesday's test.
Fine Arts: Dress rehearsal on Friday, be ready! All costume pieces should already be at school.
Other: SPCA Fundraiser in honor of Max, please bring items in to add to our stash!
THURSDAY, MAY 5
Religion: May Crowning Mass on Friday, wear FULL DRESS uniform.
Reading: Book reports are due on Monday.
Math: Review Sheet for test. Use notes to help you prepare.
Language Arts/English: Spelling test Tuesday with vocabulary.
Fine Arts: Continue to prepare for performance on May 11. Dress rehearsal tomorrow!

- From the University of California, Davis, I graduated with a BA in English Literature (major) and Teacher Education (minor). While at UCD, I competed on the swim team and was a yearbook staff writer. From the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, I earned a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. While at the University of the Pacific I also wrote and received a grant for a literacy project and for a travel project. I possess a Clear Multiple Subject teaching credential with Supplementary Authorization in English from the State of California. I have passed the examination for California Teachers of English Learners (CLAD/CTEL) in all three domains. In addition, I am classified as a 'NCLB Highly Qualified Teacher'. For eleven years I have taught fourth grade (and I love it!) My education experiences also include 5th, a 4th/5th combination class, K, 1st, high school varsity/jv sports coaching and a unique & rewarding experience supervising incarcerated dual diagnosis developmentally disabled adults in math and reading activities. I am so excited to work with you this year!!
