Religion: SF SPCA donations optional through the month of May.
Reading: Big Cheese Letters due Wednesday. However, Matthew is the only person who presented today (Nahomy went home dizzy & Lilly was absent). If they do not present tomorrow then this due date will be changed. For now, just do Matthew's letter. Remember, 8 sentence minimum & be neat, these go in special books for you to keep in June.
Science: Research project: may work on it at home. The days we will work on it in the lab: MWF this week.
Math: Worksheet
SS: Finish your reading outline worksheet we started last week in class. You will need your book.
Language Arts/English: If you earned below a 70% on last week's spelling & vocabulary assessment, you'll retake it until you pass. Regular spelling test is tomorrow.

Service Hour opportunities:
1) Donate new containers of colored permanent markers for our fish murals.
2) Develop our film from photography class.
3) Paint classroom items (supplies provided)
4) Clean classroom items (supplies provided)
5) Donate paper towels.
6) Big service hour project to do the last week of school, at school of photocopying & binding Big Cheese books.

Reading: Bring in special item on MONDAY!!! Very important.
Science: Reports due Tuesday. Presentations will be on Wednesday. Practice, follow directions, be prepared.
Language Arts/English: Spelling & Vocabulary tests on Tuesday.
Other: 5 or more missing assignments--> stay here and go to study hall.
Fewer than 5--> you have a reward of a field trip.

- From the University of California, Davis, I graduated with a BA in English Literature (major) and Teacher Education (minor). While at UCD, I competed on the swim team and was a yearbook staff writer. From the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, I earned a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. While at the University of the Pacific I also wrote and received a grant for a literacy project and for a travel project. I possess a Clear Multiple Subject teaching credential with Supplementary Authorization in English from the State of California. I have passed the examination for California Teachers of English Learners (CLAD/CTEL) in all three domains. In addition, I am classified as a 'NCLB Highly Qualified Teacher'. For eleven years I have taught fourth grade (and I love it!) My education experiences also include 5th, a 4th/5th combination class, K, 1st, high school varsity/jv sports coaching and a unique & rewarding experience supervising incarcerated dual diagnosis developmentally disabled adults in math and reading activities. I am so excited to work with you this year!!
