We have an excellent opportunity to complete a photography art class. Discussed will be the basics of perspective and light. So many students are accustomed to the quickness and easy erasing of digital cameras... an excellent technology but using film that needs to be developed will require students to think before they take their shots!
What we need to do in order to have this photography class and field experience:
21 disposable cameras
Walmart, Walgreens, Target, eABay, and sometimes Craigslist have deals on disposable cameras. I have noted sometimes the biggest sales are on disposable cameras that are printed for weddings.
Please let me know if you are able to donate a few or a lot for this special art class.

- From the University of California, Davis, I graduated with a BA in English Literature (major) and Teacher Education (minor). While at UCD, I competed on the swim team and was a yearbook staff writer. From the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, I earned a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. While at the University of the Pacific I also wrote and received a grant for a literacy project and for a travel project. I possess a Clear Multiple Subject teaching credential with Supplementary Authorization in English from the State of California. I have passed the examination for California Teachers of English Learners (CLAD/CTEL) in all three domains. In addition, I am classified as a 'NCLB Highly Qualified Teacher'. For eleven years I have taught fourth grade (and I love it!) My education experiences also include 5th, a 4th/5th combination class, K, 1st, high school varsity/jv sports coaching and a unique & rewarding experience supervising incarcerated dual diagnosis developmentally disabled adults in math and reading activities. I am so excited to work with you this year!!
