VEGETABLES- YUM!!

Students should select a favorite recipe to include in our 4th grade cookbook. It's not an assignment yet but start thinking about it!

Today we made a sautee of the following vegetables from our organic garden:

nasturtium
kale
rainbow chard
peas
chives


How to repeat this at home if you enjoyed the flavors today:

Thoroughly massage olive oil & vinegar into the leaves (both sides)
Cut the leaves into squares & add salt & pepper.
Sautee or bake in foil or glass pan @ 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or so.
