MONDAY, March 28
Reading: Blackberries in the Dark read pages:
Math: Worksheet
Language Arts/English: Spelling Test tomorrow
Today is the first day of the 4th quarter. This is a new start for goals, organizing, and making changes. Students were given time in class to clean up their chair pockets & organizer folders today.
Reminder: Mr. Diptesh is at CYO camp this week so if you are tutored by him then you will NOT have tutoring!
TUESDAY, March 29
Religion: Mass Thursday in Chapel.
Reading: Blackberries in the Dark, be prepared for quiz (read 20 minutes, this may take you to the end of the book depending on your speed). Return A Likely Place and GHS books.
Math: Worksheet/review notes. A surprise math vocabulary quiz could occur at any time.
LA/English: Spelling pretest corrected in red pen.
WEDNESDAY, March 30
Reading: Blackberries in the Dark test on Friday. Questions are also due on Friday. Suggestion: do half tonight, the other half tomorrow night.
Math: Worksheet. Study vocabulary for 5-7 minutes. You need to keep your geometry cards, they will come back (to haunt you?)
Social Studies: Finish flashcards. Study 5-7 minutes (quiz possible)
Music: Script is posted online! Roles will be posted soon...
Other: Conferences next week. Dismissal for MTW is 12:30pm. Th/F is 3:00pm.
THURSDAY, March 31
Reading: Blackberries in the Dark questions due Friday (they are on page 50 in the book). Test Monday.
Math: Worksheet
LA/English: 7 direct quotation spelling sentences (like what we did in class on Wednesday), same style. Sketch the most interesting one for extra credit.
Music/Opera/Art: The Real Thief roles will be announced verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry soon!!!
FRIDAY, April 2
Reading: Blackberries in the Dark test on Monday.
Opera: Work on memorizing your lines.
The rest of what you wrote down was a joke... you are all April Fools today!!! Did you REALLY think that was all homework to do over the weekend??? REALLY?!?!? Heh, heh, heh!

- From the University of California, Davis, I graduated with a BA in English Literature (major) and Teacher Education (minor). While at UCD, I competed on the swim team and was a yearbook staff writer. From the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, I earned a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. While at the University of the Pacific I also wrote and received a grant for a literacy project and for a travel project. I possess a Clear Multiple Subject teaching credential with Supplementary Authorization in English from the State of California. I have passed the examination for California Teachers of English Learners (CLAD/CTEL) in all three domains. In addition, I am classified as a 'NCLB Highly Qualified Teacher'. For eleven years I have taught fourth grade (and I love it!) My education experiences also include 5th, a 4th/5th combination class, K, 1st, high school varsity/jv sports coaching and a unique & rewarding experience supervising incarcerated dual diagnosis developmentally disabled adults in math and reading activities. I am so excited to work with you this year!!
