TRIPLE DIGIT MULTIPLICATION

Students looking for a little extra practice & extra credit may earn a point for each triple digit multiplication problem they write on paper and solve. All you have to do is make up a problem and solve it. An example problem is 394 x 276.

The points will be added toward their homework grade, which is 30% of the report card grade.

This extra credit assignment will be added toward the 4th quarter math grade. It will begin now and extend through the end of April.

13 out of 17 students passed their most recent triple-digit multiplication assessment. For those who did not pass, the issue was not lack of understanding of the steps but rather, not knowing the 0-12 multiplication facts.
