This is short notice because we were just given this opportunity at Fiesta this weekend!
This field trip will take place on October 15th, 10:30am-12:00pm.
We will visit Julian Street between 14th and 15th and Mission and Valencia Streets to tour a tee-pee and Inipi (Sweat Lodge) and cultural center.
This is a direct tie-in to our current curriculum in 4th grade Social Studies.
The follow-up to this visit will be an in-class visit where we have an opportunity to drum and learn some songs.
