We need the following items for a science experiment ASAP.
8 D cell batteries, alkalines-MET, thank you to Justine's family.
8 lightbulbs, #222
16 short wires, maybe about 5 inches in length, 20--gauge 15 cm
1 wire stripper (for me to borrow, not for students-MET, thank you to my own personal parents.
1 roll of 20 gauge insulated wire
Other items we still need:
Sharpened pencils
Flat stones
gold leaf paint
Rust Oleum Brand Spray Paint Universal Gloss in Blue and in Yellow for painting the tires we received (although they have not yet arrived) as a donation for our tire garden

- From the University of California, Davis, I graduated with a BA in English Literature (major) and Teacher Education (minor). While at UCD, I competed on the swim team and was a yearbook staff writer. From the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, I earned a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. While at the University of the Pacific I also wrote and received a grant for a literacy project and for a travel project. I possess a Clear Multiple Subject teaching credential with Supplementary Authorization in English from the State of California. I have passed the examination for California Teachers of English Learners (CLAD/CTEL) in all three domains. In addition, I am classified as a 'NCLB Highly Qualified Teacher'. For eleven years I have taught fourth grade (and I love it!) My education experiences also include 5th, a 4th/5th combination class, K, 1st, high school varsity/jv sports coaching and a unique & rewarding experience supervising incarcerated dual diagnosis developmentally disabled adults in math and reading activities. I am so excited to work with you this year!!
